About FOB

Friends of Blaine (FOB) is an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) comprised of passionate parent volunteers. Our charge is to raise money to support quality educational programming and improve the learning environment for students at James G. Blaine Elementary School.

MISSION

To help Blaine enrich, enlighten and expand the minds of more than 800 culturally diverse neighborhood students, grades K-8, through ongoing fundraising efforts.

VISION

To work with our families, local businesses and greater community to solicit charitable donations in the form of financial assistance, products and services and to collaborate with school officials and educators to invest these funds in initiatives that will best benefit students.

WHAT WE FUND

• Annual initiatives designed to improve physical, educational and emotional well-being of all students, such as new science curriculum, technology upgrades and improved gymnasium/wellness facilities

• Enrichment experiences and enduring Fine Arts programming

• Capital improvements
